A Guide to Castellon De La Plana

Castellon de la Plana is the capital of the region of Castellon. The main area of interest in the town is the city centre which is garnished with the beautiful market, the Town Hall, and the stunning Cathedral of El Fadri, which is a wonderful bell tower erected at the end of the 16th Century. There is also the Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes and the Convento de las Madres Capuchinas which both contain collections of beautiful art work from around the world and classic Spanish art work. For all those who enjoy astronomy there is El Planetario which gives talks and viewings of the constellaions and the solar system. Castello de la Plana is a perfect place to come for an afternoon or for an evening stop over.
