Spain Valencia

A Guide to Alicante

Located in the region of C Valencia the city of Alicante is situated on the Costa Brava amid some stunning beaches of golden sand and beautiful blue seas. One of the main sites to see in the city is the fantastic Arab Castle of Santa Barbara which looms over the city. Once in the city you should make your way through the city to the Esplanada de Espana, which is the area the residents of Alicante go to unwind.

Like many other towns and cities in the country Alicante has a history between the Moors and the Christians and if you are fortunate you might arrive in the town in time for one of the festivals most notably the Night of San Juan. The restaurants in the city are fantastic and serve delicious regional cuisines. The surrounding area is fantastic with the stunning Benacantil mountain standing over the city and the scenery is perfect for those who enjoy taking long walks and hiking. Alicante is a fantastic place to come and is one of the places to come in the area.
