A Guide to Tarragona

The city of Tarragona is the capital of the region of Tarragona and is situated on the Costa Daurada and is a noted fishing and yachting port. There are a great deal of Roman remains in the city such as the La Muralla which encircles the Old part of the city. The main attraction to Tarragona is the stunning scenery which surrounds the city.

There are the fantastic Delta del Ebre nature reserve which is one of the largest wetlands in the Mediterranean. There are also the stunning Prades mountains which are perfect for those who enjoy taking long walks, hiking and of course mountaineering. These are not the only sports on offer in the city especially watersports including sailing, windsurfing, diving and water skiing.

There are also two water parks, Aquopolis and Aqualeon in th city perfect for children. The city of Tarragona is a perfect place for all the family and has something for everyone and is a perfect place to come and visit.
