A Guide to Salou

Located in the Catalunia region the city of Salou has become one of the main tourist destinations on the Costa Daurada. The climate of the area is fantastic with hot summer days. The beaches are covered in golden sand looking out over the beautiful blue sea. The area is famous for the variety of the fantastic water sports available.

The town itself carries on the beauty from the beach with the most notable site being the tower of Cal Bonet which was built in memory of King Jamie I. There are many other sites including the Old Railway station and the 16th Century Torre Vella. There is also Universal’s Port Aventura theme park which is perfect for a day out for the kids.

The nightlife in the area is fantastic with the restaurants serving delicious regional cuisines and those that enjoy partying must go to the clubs which are open late into the night. Salou is a fantastic place to come and visit and has something for the whole family.
