A Guide to Palamos

Set amid stunning scenery the town of Palamos is now a tourist destination. A former 12th Century fishing port the town has now expanded and due to its lovely beaches and it’s sailing facilities. The town itself must not be forgotten and has fantastic medieval streets. The beach is a perfect place to come and there are many activities on offer including swimming, water skiing and many other watersports.

The area around the coves and the cliffs are fantastic and covered with pine trees and forests and perfect for those who love to take long walks. The restaurants in the town are superb and serve delicious regional cuisine and the main dishes you should try are any of the fish dishes which are caught right off the coast and served fresh. The town of Palamosa is the place to come for a tourist beach which isn’t over crowded with many activities on offer to keep all the family entertained.
