A Guide to Manresa

Located in the province of Barcelona the city of Manresa is set against the stunning back drop of the Mountains of Monserrat Nature Reserve. At the centre of the city we find the basilica of Santa Maria de la Seo. It is a unique building in that it combines Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles. The Pont Vell is a beautiful bridge and the area where the Jesuits came to pray and the Santa Cova was the sanctuary where the Loyola would stay when he was in the city.
