A Guide to Teruel

Tereul has undergone a number of transformations throughout its history. We first hear of the town in the 10th Century from Muslim history and indeed the Moors did leave behind some fantastic architecture and soon many Christian buildings began to arise during the Renaissance. There are amny forts, palaces and castles in the city and if yiu are really lucky you may be able to see some of the cave paintings in the town. One of the main examples of the beautiful architecture is the Seat at Torico and is a must see site. Tereul is perfect for a loose morning while travelling through the area.
