A Guide to Asiago
Asiago is the capital of the Asiago High Plane, a region which is rich in tourist attractions because of its beautiful panoramic landscape and its historical importance. In ancient times Asiago was known as Cimbro di Sleghe. Sights to see include the Cathedral of San Matteo, the Military Shrine, the Park of Regina Margherita e della Rimembranza, the Astrophysics Observatory, There is also an eighteen hole golf course and an indoor skating rink offered for sports enthusiasts.
