A Guide to Brunico

Brunico is located between the Dolomites, Val Badia, Valle Aurina and the Zittertal Alps in the middle of the Green Valley known as the Pusteria. With its districts of Riscone, S.Giorgio, Villa S. Caterina, Tendone, Lunes and Ameto, Brunico offers a great variety of activities to satisfy every sporting taste, one of the most popular being the Plan de Corones ski resort.

There are a numerous sights of cultural interests to see including the War cemetery, Brunico Castle, the Pyramids, Church Orsoline and Porta Orsoline, the Marianna Column, the Church of St Caterina, Porta Ragen, Porta Rienza, Porta Floriani, the Church of the Spirito Santo, the Civic Museum. The Ethnographic Museum, the Parish Church with its extremely valuable crucifix by Michael Pacher.

Brunico is the perfect summer holiday destination, with a wealth of events and attractions, including the Brunico Jazz Festival, concerts, culinary shows, shopping and many more.
