Opened in 2002, the Zenit Coruna is a modern hotel located by Plaza de Pontevedra in A Coruna centre, 50 metres from the beach and 800 metres from the Opera House. The 70 guestrooms contrast light, natural decor with dark furniture and are equipped with complimentary high speed and wireless Internet connections, satellite television, telephones, minibars, slippers and in room safes. Bathrooms include hair dryers, bidets and bathrobes.
The hotel restaurant La Marola is housed in a contemporary dining room with contrasting dark grey and white decor and oak wood furniture, and offers buffet breakfasts and an à la carte menu of traditional Galician dishes made from fresh local produce. A children's menu is also available. The hotel houses two meeting rooms equipped with audio visual facilities. The two rooms can be combined into one larger room that can accommodate up to 120 people. Catering for banquets and receptions can be arranged on request. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can arrange dry cleaning and offer advice on local sights and attractions, and room service is available. Guests arriving by car will find parking facilities available (surcharge). The hotel is less than two blocks from the beach and within a kilometre visitors will find attractions such as the Domus, an interactive museum entirely devoted to the study of human beings, and the Finisterrae Aquarium. La Coruna Airport is eight kilometres from the hotel and can be reached by car in approximately 15 minutes.
