A Guide to Manzanillo

Manzanillo is widely regarded as one of the stunning beach resorts in Mexico. It is situated 56 miles south of Colima and the average temperature is a wonderful 27°C all the year round The beaches are fantastic with rolling slopes and golden sands. Here there are many activities to take part in from surfing, water skiing, snorkelling and all sorts of diving.

Like many Mexican tours the scenery around the town is astounding and perfect for camping and eco tours. The hotels around the area have a distinctly Mediterranean and Moorish feel left over from the Spanish. There are some uperb hotels in the area some with world class golf courses open and ready to be used.

The further in to the town you go the more traditional Mexican restaurants can be found serving the regional cuisines. Though there are many restaurants catering for any needs. There are equally a large number of bars for those who like to party. Mazanillo’s night life does not compare to that of Acapulco or Guadalajara but is still vibrant and goes on well into the night.
