Located on the coast of the sea of Cortez 250 miles from Nogales, San Carlos is a beautiful beach resort with something for everyone. It has beautiful golden beaches and bright blue seas, which are perfect for all manors of water sports, like kayaking, surfing, scuba diving, skiing and many others.

There is also a marina with boats for hire for all those ardent sailors and enjoy being out on the waves. For those who prefer a less of a physical workout and a more relaxing time there are some fantastic golf courses, tennis courts and bowling alleys all to cater to any needs.

The food in San Carlos is second to none with a whole range of Mexican cuisines and especially excellent seafood dishes. Though there is no shortage of any other cuisine if required. There are all sorts of different styles of accommodation in the area whether it is hotels, motels, or apartments for hire but there is something for everyone making San Carlos a must place to visit.
