Description |
Located in the heart of Chamberí neighborhood of Madrid, quite close to the Paseo de la Castellana. The building is a century old French Palace that was reconstructed combining classical and avant garde architecture. The library (converted into a dining room) and the dancing halls (now used as conference rooms) have been preserved intact and look onto the garden. Once the Canadian embassy, this 20th century mansion is now a luxury hotel, only a 10 minute cab ride from the center of the city. The neoclassical architecture is accented by contemporary furniture in teal, mustard, and eggplant hues. There is a top notch restaurant, which has a contemporary menu and a delightful dining terrace.
