A Guide to Camogli
This is located on the divine coast of the Golfo Paradiso. It is a wonderfully traditional seaside town also gained the nickname “the Thousand White Sailing Ships” due to vast numbers of maritime vessels that once occupied the bay. The waters are ideal to relax in however for the traditional sailing boats it was not so easy at times.
The Virgin Mary was often asked to protect the vulnerable sailors and the shrines and images around the town reflect on this tradition. The coast here has a lot to offer for visitors including boat trips across the bay. There are also many walks in the surroundings, one of which can take you from Ruta to San Rocco.
