Situated in Mira at a key point on the route between the nearby cities of Padua and Venice, the Riviera dei Dogi Hotel overlooks the Brenta Riviera Canal, renowned for the richness of its artistic and architectural treasures, and for the famous palladian villas in the area.
From recently discovered historical records, it has been established that the hotel dates back to 1537.Initially planned as a weekend retreat for Contarini aristocratic family, towardsthe middle of the seventeenth century it was used as an inn, and retained this function until the end of the nineteenth century.
It was during these years that the Hotel first began, initially under the name “Hotel Cima”. It was the first hotel on the Riviera del Brenta to offer a series of innovations which were to make it famous, even amongst the Venetian aristocracy, and it flourished until the end of the Second World War.
Following the war, after a long period of neglect, conservative, expert restoration brought the building back to its original splendour, making the "Riviera Dei Dogi" a
hotel of unique style.

From Marco Polo Airport:
Take bus to Piazzale Roma.
Buy a bus ticket to Mira and catch bus marked either 'Dolo' or 'Padova.'
When you arrive to Mira Porte, ask driver to stop in front of the Ristorante Vecia Brenta.
Get off bus and turn left at stoplight.
Walk 50 yards to the end of the block.
Turn right and walk along canal for 100 yards.
The hotel is on the right.

Arriving from Milano, Roma, Bologna:
A4 Serenissima Highway - exit for Dolo - following the indications to Mira, you will arrive in the centre of Mira (town council) where you find 3 traffic-lights. Go straight on keeping the river on your righthand side. After about 300 m you will enter into a street called "Riviera Silvio Trentin". The Hotel Riviera dei Dogi is situated at number 33 on your lefthand.
Arriving from Udine, Trieste:
Go off the bypass street at the last exit of Mestre. Follow the indications to Padova (Blue sign SS11). After passing the two traffic circles, always to Padova, you will join the SS11 street along the river in the direction to Mira. At the first traffic lights, after the sign of Mira, turn left and at the stop turn right. After 200 m you will find Riviera dei Dogi Hotel on your righthand.
By train
Venezia-Mestre station:
Catching a bus to Dolo or Padova or by taxi from Mestre to Mira (12 Km).
By plane
"Marco Polo" Airport in Tessera:
By taxi from Tessera to Mira (20 Km).
