A Guide to Bourges

Bourges is situated on top of a hill and above the river Yevre. The main site in the town is the Gothic Cathedral in all its magnificent. There are also during the summer many festivals held throughout the summer with a whole range of music from new rock, to rap to Chinese Jazz.

Many leave the city after seeing the Cathedral believing that to be it in the city though if you look around the city there are fantastic and beautiful buildings around it. This is due to the fact that it was built to rival the city of Dijon.

Bourges is the perfect place to spend a few hours having a pleasant walk through the town’s pretty streets and is ideal if you have a spare afternoon.
