Melrose Mansion is located within New Orleans' famous French Quarter on Esplanade Avenue. The complex consists of the original carriage house, a courtyard and an 1884 mansion lovingly renovated and painted a brilliant white.
The two story mansion features a sparkling pool and other amenities. Guests enter the lobby on shining hardwood floors and relax under sparkling chandeliers. White gloved service in The Parlor includes nightly cocktails, wine from the on site cellar and hors d'oeuvres. Guests wake to complimentary breakfasts and hazelnut coffee at the smoke free hotel.
Guests are led to inviting guestrooms at Melrose Mansion by a grand staircase. Guestrooms feature four poster beds with luxury linens, fresh flowers, soft armchairs and oversized windows. Marble bathrooms include oversized bathtubs, marble counters and fluffy bathrobes. The popular Donecio Suite has been named "the most romantic bedroom in New Orleans" and is a favorite with honeymooners. The Parc Henry suite overlooks the heated pool and features a sizeable dining room and kitchen.
