Description |
Location. A Florida landmark since its celebrated opening in 1928, the 300 acre Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is located on the shores of Ponte Vedra Beach. The hotel is just three miles from the Jacksonville Beach Seawalk Pavilion and 18 miles from Jacksonville's Alltel Stadium. Outlet shopping is 27 miles from the property.
Hotel Features. The lobby offers a luxurious first impression, lined with white Roman columns, oak wooden floors, cherry wood beams frame the high ceiling, marble tile and European style furniture. Dining options range from the signature Seafoam Room, which features continental cuisine, private candlelit tables with piano music and ocean views. The Inn Dining Room offers a wide selection of fresh seafood, while the Golf Club overlooks the blue lagoons and famous "island 9th hole." More than two bars are on site and 24 hour room service is offered. A business center and meeting space are provided. Acreage at the resort includes 36 holes of golf, 15 tennis courts, a health spa that offers a large range of pampering services, a fitness center and four swimming pools.
Guestrooms. The resort's 250 oceanfront guestrooms and 45 suites feature elegant custom furnishings, original artwork and ceiling fans with balcony or patio views. Kitchenettes include refrigerators, microwave ovens and minibars. Each room offers complimentary Internet access, daily newspapers, cable/satellite television, CD and DVD players and in room safes. Slippers are provided.
Expert Tip. The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club boasts a Golf Academy, where students receive a videotape analysis of their golf swing, driving range, putting green, chipper green and plenty of instruction from the staff.
Gratuity Fees:
Nightly gratuity fees are determined by the hotel and are subject to change. This fee is based on single or double occupancy, is automatically charged to guest accounts and is collected by the hotel upon check out.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel's Lagoon Course is currently closed for renovations and is expected to reopen on December 1, 2007. This date is subject to change.
