Location. Telluride Mountainside Inn is adjacent to ski lifts overlooking the San Miguel River in Telluride, Colorado. This once rowdy mining town, originally called Columbia, was the site of Butch Cassidy's first bank robbery in 1889. Nowadays it is a year round recreation destination for mountain bikers, skiers, snowboarders, anglers and hikers. The resort is within walking distance to shopping, dining and areas where local film and music festivals are held. Hotel Features. This ski in resort has a spa tub located next to the river. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. Laundry facilities are located on site and there are barbeque grills for guest use.
Guestrooms. Each of the standard, efficiency and one bedroom units at the Telluride Mountainside Inn feature cable television with premium channels. The efficiency room comes with a kitchenette that offers a two burner stove top, a toaster, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator. The one bedroom suite offers separate bedroom, living room and dining areas. One bedrooms also feature full size kitchens equipped with service for five.
Expert Tip. Cosmopolitan is a fine dining restaurant located four blocks from the resort. Specialty dishes include barbequed salmon with crispy corn potato ravioli and grilled dry aged rib eye served with chive horseradish mashed potatoes.
