Description |
Location. Surrounded by snow capped mountains and positioned in the shopping and restaurant district, the Peppermill Hotel is located in Reno, Nev. The hotel is one mile from the Reno Sparks Convention Center, and two miles from downtown Reno and the Reno Tahoe International Airport. Complimentary airport transportation is provided.
Hotel Features. Nine dining venues are available at the resort including Romanza Ristorante Italiano, which features wood fired cuisine, seafood and pasta. Contemporary American favorites are presented at White Orchid. Wild salmon, king crab and shucked to order oysters are offered at Oceano Seafood Restaurant, Oyster and Sushi Bar. The hotel features 14 themed lounges and bars. Conference rooms and a business center are available, as is Internet access. A health club provides a sauna, and cardiovascular and weight training equipment. The Peppermill Spa offers the Illuminating Derma Facial, massage therapy and salon treatments. Amenities at the hotel include more than 2,000 slot machines and table games in the bi level casino. An on site gift shop and clothing boutique are available. The hotel includes an arcade. A landscaped outdoor pool boasts waterfalls and an artificial mountain range.
Guestrooms. The 1,100 guestrooms and suites provide mountain views. Décor includes mahogany stained furniture and accents in shades of blue and cranberry. Bedding features triple sheeting and down pillows. Bathrooms include Bath & Body Works toiletries. Rooms are equipped with high speed Internet access and satellite television. Accommodations include minibars.
Expert Tip. The hotel's lobby contains self service kiosks. Panels display flight arrival and departure times. Kiosks allow bar coded valet parking tickets to be scanned for quicker delivery.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to its guestroom tower, entrance, lobby, convention and meeting space, spa, salon, fitness center, pool, entertainment deck and gardens. The estimated completion date is fall 2007. This date is subject to change.
