Location. Bathed within the myriad bright lights and sounds of the Fremont Street Experience, located on a four block, pedestrians only stretch of downtown Las Vegas, Nev., is the Four Queens Hotel and Casino. This classic property has stood on "Glitter Gulch" since opening in 1968 and continues to attract loyal patrons. Busses and the Las Vegas Monorail are available for getting around the city for a fee. Hotel Features. The renowned Hugo's Cellar, which locals rank as their favorite gourmet restaurant, allows diners to exercise their culinary skills by cooking their own beef, shrimp, swordfish and chicken dishes on hot granite slabs. Canyon Club feature dining, two full bars, a dance floor, a VIP area and video screens. Performing artists include The Tubes, Los Lobos, BBKing, Foreinger, Boz Scaggs, and Hootie & The Blowfish. Chicago Brewing Company and Cigar Lounge boasts handcrafted micro brews, pizzas, entrees and a selection of cigars. The Queens Café and Deli offers gourmet coffees, subs and salads. Business needs are met with conference rooms, a business center and Internet access for a fee. Although modest in size, the lively casino offers 30,000 square feet of slots, video poker, single deck blackjack, craps, roulette, pai gow and many tables with low minimums.
Guestrooms. The hotel's twin 19 story towers boast 690 guestrooms that include blond wood furnishings and décor in sienna, light brown and dusty rose. Each offers desks and tiled bathrooms. Amenities include cable television and dial up and wireless Internet access for a fee.
