Hotel Features. Upon entering the hotel, guests discover stone floors that lead to a wood paneled lobby. Parents and children can participate in activities provided at the 12,000 square foot Family fun Center while the Kid's Camp features supervised activities such as hiking, swimming and bowling. The days of the Tahoe Pony Express are recalled at Friday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill that specializes in seafood and steak. The Summit, located on the 16th floor, is Harrah's fine dining venue where superb cuisine complements Tahoe's spectacular scenery. An adjacent cigar bar offers a selection of smokes, wines and premium liquors.
Guestrooms. The 525 guestrooms housed within an 18 story tower are double soundproofed and feature bay windows, many of which boast lake or mountain views. Accommodations have marble entryways, sitting areas, desks, and two bathrooms, each with a telephone and television. Wireless Internet access is offered, as are focused bedside reading lights.
Expert Tip. Guests have easy access through a covered, street level passageway to Harvey's Lake Tahoe, the hotel's companion property. Harvey's allures include a Cabo Wabo Cantina and Improv Comedy Club.
