Description |
Location. The Hyatt Regency Boston is a high rise hotel located in downtown Boston, Mass., two blocks from the financial district and less than four miles from Logan International Airport. The property is one block from Macy's and two blocks from Boston Common and Freedom Trail.
Hotel Features. Room service is available 24 hours a day from Avenue One, with a menu including Alaskan red king salmon, braised lamb shank, fire grilled filet mignon and fondue favorites. The second floor lobby lounge features black and brown marble floors, dark woods, fresh floral arrangements and large European area carpets. The hotel offers a business center and 24,000 square feet of function space, including a grand ballroom with an open air terrace and 21 meeting rooms. The Hyatt Regency Boston features a fitness facility with a sauna, a steam room and an indoor lap pool with an adjoining sundeck.
Guestrooms. The 22 story hotel offers 498 guestrooms that display city views. Renovated in 2004, rooms feature triple sheeting, down comforters and down pillows. Expert Tip. Filene's Basement, just two blocks from the hotel, has been a Boston icon since 1947. The store offers designer clothing in simple wooden bins with no décor. Filene's Basement is home to the "Running of the Brides," an annual one day event where brides from around the world come out to purchase that special dress at drastically reduced prices.
