Description |
Location. Set on 27 acres of lush Florida landscape, the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld is located across the street from SeaWorld and Discovery Cove. The hotel provides guests with unique opportunities to swim with dolphins, feed tropical birds and explore reefs and grottos at the adjacent Discovery Cove adventure park. The hotel is one mile from the Orange County Convention Center.
Hotel Features. Complimentary glasses of champagne welcome guests as they marvel at the lobby's 50 foot tall Venetian aviary filled with exotic birds and tropical flora. Delectable seafood dinners await at Atlantis, while a piano lounge, Dolphin's, is located in the atrium lobby. Poolside fare, smoothies and cocktails are available at the Palms Pool Bar & Grill. A Sunday Brunch, featuring over 100 unique selections ranging from Asian to contemporary American cuisine, is available in the lobby. Forty eight rooms offer 185,000 square feet of space for business meetings and other functions. An on site business center, event catering and wireless Internet access for a fee are all available. A fitness center is stocked with exercise bikes, treadmills, free weights, sauna, steam room and massage facilities. Innervision Spa indulges guests with such treatments as Seaweed Body Wraps, Theme Park Express Leg and Foot Treatments, and airbrush tanning. The recreational area features an outdoor pool, two spa tubes, playground and tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. The Shamu Game Room delights younger guests, while the hotel's 18 hole championship golf course is a golf lover's dream.
Guestrooms. The resort's 778 guestrooms feature 32 inch plasma screen televisions, minibars mirrored closet doors and high speed Internet access. Bathrooms all contain telephones and dual vanities. Amenities include video game consoles, safes and desks. Refrigerators and turndown service are available upon request.
Expert Tip. Guests receive preferred tee times at the 18 hole Marriott Grande Pines Golf Course, one mile from the hotel.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel is currently renovating its front desk area and porte cochere. During this time, the front desk will be temporarily relocated to the north corner of the resort along with the bell and valet staff. Lobby ambassadors will be on hand to direct and assist guests. The estimated completion date is June 1, 2007. This date is subject to change.
