Location. The Bahia Mar Resort boasts a beachside setting one block from Andy Bowie Park on South Padre Island, Texas. The Laguna Madre Bay, located one block west of the resort, offers parasailing and fishing in its shallow waters.
Features. Located in a subtropical setting, the resort occupies 15 acres of beach property overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and Laguna Madre Bay. This resort features architecture fused with Art Deco style. The casual Bahia Bar & Grill offers steak, seafood and salads, and hosts karaoke on the weekends. The resort's cabana bar features frozen specialty drinks and margaritas. Club Las Ventanas offers live entertainment and dancing each evening. Over 54,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including a Grand Ballroom, boardrooms, an outdoor amphitheater and the Las Campanas Patio by the pool, are available for corporate or social events. Catering and business services are also available. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided in public areas. A garden walk dotted with fountains leads to the beach. The outdoor pool with a children's section is surrounded by a large sundeck with lounge chairs. Tennis, volleyball and shuffleboard courts, a putting green, game room and water sports rentals are available. Pets are not allowed at this property.
