Description

The Hacienda Uayamon sits on the Yucatan Peninsula in Uayamon, Mexico. Built in 1700, the hotel is located in the Northern Campeche region and is 21.0 kilometers from Campeche City, Campeche Historic Center, Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception, Malecon and Puerta La Tierra. Edzna is 45.0 kilometers from the property.

Colonial Mayan architecture, accented with high wood beam ceilings and stone walls permeate the spacious public areas of the Hacienda Uayamon. Providing views of the hotel gardens, the Uayamon Restaurant serves eclectic dishes made of fresh, local ingredients in a candle lit environment.

Cocktails and light snacks are provided in the Uayamon Bar. Cotton woven hammocks surround the hotel's outdoor pool. The hotel's spa offers massage treatments entrenched in the odor of aromatherapy candles.

The 12 guestrooms of the Hacienda Uayamon are embellished with ivory and ebony tiled floors and stone walls. Constructed as individual casitas, the rooms display traditional, earth toned fabrics comprised of white, camel and burgundy colors.

Candles and lamps offer rooms ample light promoting a soft glow. Cable television and clock radios are standard amenities in each room. Rooms feature private patios and sitting areas.

The Hacienda Uayamon was designed by noted Indonesian architect, Jaya Ibrahim. Guestrooms and public areas promote contemporary and traditional aspects accenting the hotel's original features. Casitas style guestrooms now include cotton hammocks and private pools.
