Description |
Location. The Fiesta Americana Cozumel Dive Resort is secluded along Cozumel, Mexico's southwest coast, and stands across the street from the beach. This resort is located one half kilometer from Parque Chankanaab and provides ready access to scuba diving and snorkeling sites.
Hotel Features. Dining options include The Reef, featuring panoramic ocean views, buffet breakfasts and Mexican dinner dishes. The sophisticated Hacienda Miramar requires reservations and prepares a selection of international fare. Multi purpose function rooms and Internet access accommodate social or corporate purposes. Business services such as faxing, photocopying and printing capabilities add to this resort's appeal. Recreation includes tennis and volleyball courts, a dive center and a private pier. The Beach Club offers ocean activities that focus on scuba diving, kayaking and snorkeling. One of two expansive outdoor pools is located near the beach, and the other is set within the gardens.
Guestrooms. This resort features 168 guestrooms and 56 tropically designed casita suites that afford sea or garden views. All accommodations contain satellite television, bathtubs, tables and chairs, coffeemakers and private balconies. Many rooms have been remodeled with finely constructed wood furnishings employing Mayan craftsmanship. Balconies feature rustic reclining chairs and cocktail tables. Tropical casitas are housed in clusters of four suites located in a secluded jungle setting. Casitas feature hardwood armoires, safes, minibars, marble vanities, oversized showers and soaking tubs, and step down living areas with small sofas.
Expert Tip. "Shore diving" and snorkeling sites on coral heads are within swimming distance of the resort's beach.

Book a stay before June 30, 2007, for travel through December 21, 2007, and receive a 25 percent discount on food and beverage purchases at participating hotel restaurants and bars.
