The Melia Olbia Resort and Convention Center is surrounded by lush parkland overlooking the Gulf of Olbia and Tavolara Island, three kilometres from beaches. The 219 air conditioned guestrooms feature decor in Borga Italia style or simple white decor with warm earth tones and dark wood furnishings. Many have balconies overlooking the bay. The hotel can arrange excursions to the nearby archipelago of La Maddalena, Porto Cervo and the Emerald Coast, to see the murals of Orgosolo, and visit the towns and the enchanting caves of Sa Oche, all within 30 kilometres of the hotel. Olbia Airport (OLB) is eight kilometres from the hotel, 10 minutes by car. The hotel can arrange transport to and from the airport for a surcharge. Alternatively, taxis are available.
