Built in the late 1960s, the eight floor Hotel Minerva is located one kilometre from the train station in the centre of the Renaissance city of Arezzo. The hotel has 127 air conditioned guestrooms, featuring simple, modern decor in light colours. All are soundproofed and have satellite television, direct dial telephones, minibars, safes, and bathrooms with designer toiletries and hair dryers.

The nearest airport is Florence Vespucci, which is approximately 80 kilometres and a 60 minute drive from the hotel.

The airport is a short taxi ride from central Florence (costing 13 16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the city centre. Trains run between Florence and Arezzo station, one kilometre from the hotel.
