Trains run from Catania to Siracusa central railway station. The Citybus 457 runs from the airport to Siracusa city centre every hour. The hotel offers airport transportation for a fee; taxis are also readily available. Syracuse can be explored on foot and there are regular public buses. A car is useful for exploring the region.
