Description

Opened in 1907, the chalet-style Hotel Carlo Magno Zeledria is set amidst lush pine trees with the imposing Brenta Dolomites as a backdrop. The hotel is situated 200 metres from the centre of Madonna di Campiglio and just 100 metres from the nearest ski slopes.

The 104 guestrooms feature light, Alpine influenced décor with wood furnishings and all include satellite television, in-room safes, private bathrooms, hair dryers and telephones. Half board accommodation is offered with a buffet breakfast and evening meal.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of regional and international cuisine in the traditionally decorated restaurant with its white walls and beamed ceilings. After a day on the slopes, guests can make use of the ski storage facilities before relaxing in the hotel's health club which features an indoor pool, sauna, Turkish baths, and fitness equipment. Massages and a range of beauty services are available, including bioenergetics treatments and Alpine baths.

Guests can retire to the bar for wine, champagne and grappa tasting, or to just admire the views out over the forest; alternatively, guests can warm up in front of a roaring fire in the lounge. There are also rooms for watching TV and playing cards.

For those with business needs, meeting rooms and a range of audio-visual equipment are available.

The renowned ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio is 100 metres from the hotel and features ski slopes ranging from beginner to black runs and has 16230 metres of open ski runs. Ski lift facilities include four gondolas and several chair-lifts. The area has five ski schools and over 150 instructors. The resort centre of Madonna di Campiglio also has a swimming pool and shopping facilities plus numerous bars and restaurants, some of which are at altitude and can be reached by snowcat. Guests can visit the Adamello-Brenta nature park for trekking, fishing, horse riding and rock climbing or travel the 60 kilometres to the spectacular Lake Garda. Madonna di Campiglio has its own train station and the closest airport is 150 kilometres away in Verona which is approximately a two-hour drive from the hotel.
