Just few steps from the city centre and from the green oasis of the public gardens, the Crystal Hotel of Trapani is a modern and efficient structure, which is able to offer high-level hospitality.
Trapani, which was once called Drepanon, reaches out to the Mediterranean Sea with its form of a sickle; at the farthest point of it there is the magnificent Tower of Ligny, which was a sighting tower built in 1761 and is now the premise of a museum.
The city was famous till the second half of the sixteenth Century for the extraordinary artistic works of its workers in coral and still tries to keep this particular form of handicraft alive. We can still observe the history of this capital city of the farthest Sicilian West by going along its streets. The streets in the centre communicate to the passers-by many historic records: the Jewish quarter, with Palazzo della Giudecca, Casalicchio quarter, that is the most antique zone of the city with its maze of little streets of Arabian style, and Palazzo Cavarretta, antique premise of the Senate of Trapani.
The seventy rooms, among them are two suites, are very large, well lit and furnished in a very functional way to provide the best services and a very high level comfort. In the restaurant "Cycas", overlooking a nice garden, it is possible to taste typical dishes of Trapani as well as the high national cuisine.
At Crystal Hotel the congress hospitality offers wide rooms to organize at its best every kind of meeting: the Ligny room and the adjoining Egadi and Giudecca meeting rooms can accommodate up to 160 participants.
