A fabulous nineteenth century Florentine Villa - once the abode of the illustrious philologist Zingarelli - located in a peaceful corner of TUSCANY, just outside the historical town of Gambassi Terme, a SPA village halfway to Florence and Siena and only 10 Km. far from the medieval town of S.Gimignano.
VILLA BIANCA was built during the 19th century and now, thanks to the new owner the family Giomi, it has been carefully restored together with the help of the Manager Mr. Mario Costagli, who took care of the hotel style.
The VILLA is surrounded by a large green park, where You will find ancient trees as cypresses, pines and lime.
In this scenary you will find SWIMMING POOL with children area, Jacuzzi area and outdoor BAR, open during the hot season from 11:00am to 18:00pm.
Our ten rooms were magistrally hand painted by Giulio Greco, who made them a real art works. Paintings are all referred to the Tuscan countryside and each room takes its name from the painted subject.
2 DINING ROOMS: the "GAMBASINUS Restaurant" and the panoramic veranda "the Roses's Garden" where Guests can taste flavours of the best Tuscan production.
The finest cold cuts, superb home made Pasta and Desserts, the celebrated Chianina beef and Cinta Senese pork, fresh vegetables, Cheeses from Pienza and the neighbouring farmers , the white Truffles of San Miniato and the Tuscan Extra-Virgin Olive Oil that completes the selection of fine ingredients that will assure a fulfilling experience.
You will also find TV room, indoor-outdoor reading room, Internet point, our WINE cellar named "Il Caratello" where our Sommelier and Chef will arrange for You wine and dishes tasting.

Directions |
BY CAR
FROM NORTH
1) Take "A1" Highway Milan-Rome and exit at Firenze Certosa, than take the freeway "Superstrada" Firenze-Siena direction Siena. Exit at "Poggibonsi nord" and follow to Certaldo which is 10 km far from Poggibonsi, in Certaldo follow signs to Gambassi Terme, 5 minutes far by car.
2) Exit "Firenze Signa" from "A1" Highway, than take freeway "Supestrada" S.G.C. Firenze Pisa Livorno, best exit is "Empoli Ovest"; follow to Castelfiorentino and than for Gambassi Terme, totally around 20 minutes from Empoli.
FROM SOUTH
Take "A1" Highway coming from Rome, exit at "Valdichiana" and take road to Siena. In Siena follow to Supestrada "Firenze Siena" direction Firenze, exit at "Poggibonsi sud", than follow to Certaldo and Gambassi.
BY TRAIN
From Florence, take train to Siena, get off at Castelfiorentino or at Certaldo, then you can take a bus or a taxi which will take you to Gambassi in 10 minutes.
BY AIRPLANE
FROM PISA AIRPORT
Take the train from Pisa airport railway station to Empoli, then change to Siena. Get off at Castelfiorentino or Certaldo.
Take a bus or a taxi to Gambassi (10 minutes).
FROM FLORENCE AIRPORT
Take bus or a taxi from Firenze airport to Santa Maria Novella cetral railway station, take train to Siena and then get off at Castelfiorentino or Certaldo.
Take a bus or a taxi to Gambassi (10 minutes).
