Description |
Location. The Grand Hotel Assisi, 900 metres from the city walls of Assisi, is a five storey property sited on a hilltop overlooking the Umbrian landscape, 15 kilometres from Perugia and Gubbio. Perugia's Sant'Egidio Airport is 18 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
Hotel Features. The stone façade belies the modern interior decor, where the marble floored lobby and adjacent piano bar are fitted with cherry furniture and chairs upholstered in cool blues and greys. Directions |
Getting there. A taxi from the airport will cost approximately €40. The Assisi/S.Maria degli Angeli train station is five kilometres from the hotel. From here, taxis are available for the remainder of the journey.
Driving directions. From the airport, take E45 highway towards Cesena, and take the Assisi Santa Maria Degli Angeli exit. Pass the main entrance to the city and follow the signs to Grand Hotel.
