Built in 1905, the Hungaria Palace Hotel has a curved art nouveau frontage and is located in the Venice Lido, just one kilometre from San Marco Square. A regular waterboat service and water taxis run from the airport to Venice. There are scheduled bus services to Padua, Mestre and Venice. Venice Mestre railway station is connected to the airport by a bus service that runs every 20 minutes. A private taxi boat will take about 30 minutes and the fare to the hotel is typically 80 EUR. The easiest way to get around Venice is on foot, by vaporetto (public water bus) or water taxi.
