Bologna city operates a restricted traffic policy during daytimes, which is monitored by the Sirio system. All guests driving to the Grand Hotel Baglioni, located in Via Indipendenza 8, must only use Via dei Mille or Via Irnerio (then Via Indipendenza to the hotel). Access from other streets, particularly from Via Ugo Bassi and Via Rizzoli, is prohibited. Commercial vehicles visiting the site must follow local instructions and acquire a receipt from the hotel reception.

Directions |
A shuttle bus runs every twenty minutes from the main terminal to the city centre; the shuttle stops about 30 metres from the hotel. Tickets can be bought on the bus. Taxis are available from outside the terminal.
From the airport, take the motorway towards the city centre. Leave the motorway and take the by pass (tangenziale) to exit 7 (named Fiera) Continue straight on towards the city centre following Stazione Centrale signs; at the station, follow signs for the hotel, 500 metres away.
