The Westin Excelsior Venice Lido Resort is a sprawling waterfront hotel overlooking a private beach on the Lido, just a short boat ride away from San Marco Square. The hotel's 197 guestrooms are spread across seven floors with views over the sea, lagoon and city. Guestrooms are decorated in a Moorish style with drapes and upholstered furnishings in rich colors, and all offer patio areas, air conditioning, satellite television, safes, Internet access, minibars, and large marble bathrooms with telephones and bathrobes.
Guests can sunbathe on the hotel's private beach and cool off in a swimming pool overlooking the water. Children have their own splash pool and active travelers can enjoy a workout in the hotel gym, or refine their tennis game on the hotel's clay court. Guests can also enjoy complimentary boat rides to Venice, hire bicycles from the hotel or take a windsurfing lesson. Business guests benefit from a comprehensive business center with meeting rooms.
