Built in 1965, the two storey Cervo Hotel is set in gardens and occupies two separate buildings overlooking the marina in the centre of the resort of Porto Cervo, 800 metres from Cala Granu Beach. Costa Smeralda Airport is 30 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
The Cervo Hotel's recreational facilities include three outdoor swimming pools set in the landscaped grounds, tennis courts and access to a private beach.

The house of famous revolutionary Giuseppe Garibaldi, from where he led his 1,000 Red Shirts on a campaign to conquer Sicily and Naples in 1861, is 8.5 kilometres from the hotel. The house's garden is Garibaldi's final resting place.
