Description |
The distinguished Le Sirenuse, a unique deluxe hotel in an 18th-century villa, remodelled in 2001, is still privately owned by the family of the Marchesi Sersale. The hotel is centrally located in one of the most desirable hillside vantage points in Positano, overlooking the beach.
Quiet elegance and intimate European charm are reflected by the antiques and keen attention to detail throughout the hotel. With the sea straight ahead, the village of baroque houses climbing the hill to the right, and the tiled dome of the Mother Church almost close enough to be touched, the view from our terraces is breathtaking.
Out on the horizon lies the sinuous profile of the Islands of the Sirens. The pool terrace is the largest of all. Bougainvilleas cover the arches of the vaulted dining room ceiling. Lemon trees divide the tables. The flickering lights of the village come in from the large windows and blend with all the candles illuminating the inside.
Soft mandolin music is played in the background. During the summer months the restaurant moves to the Pool Terrace, where the blue sea seems closer and the night even more magic.
The SPA - Opened in July 2000, the new Spa is essential and modern. The project was made by the famous Italian Architect Gae Aulenti. Inside, among glass walls and teak wood floors, a Sauna, a Bio-Sauna and a Steam Bath are available to all our guests. In the Gym are Life-Fitness machines and weights.
On the wall in front of every machine is a personal TV. In the Massage Cabins, our trained staff offer Face and Body Treatments.
